We’re proud to share that MANUP? has been invited to contribute to the MHFA Ireland and An Garda Síochána programme’s Train the Trainer course.

Dan Somers will be delivering a session via Zoom, focusing on suicide and suicidal behaviour in men, with the aim of equipping trainers to better understand and support men at risk. The session will include:

• Why men take their own lives

• Recognising risk factors unique to men

• Spotting the warning signs in men

This collaboration is a key step in raising awareness and providing practical tools to those working with men in crisis. While this isn’t a public event, we wanted to highlight the work we’re doing to ensure men’s mental health remains at the forefront of training and education.
