Other People's Mental Health

  • MANUP? (Zoom) Crockatt Road Ipswich, England, IP7 6RH United Kingdom (map)

Mental health isn’t only about our struggles; it’s also about understanding and supporting those around us. In this session, James Elliott (MSc) will guide participants through the complexities of dealing with other people's mental health, mainly when it affects us as men.

Whether it’s a partner, friend, or family member going through a tough time, knowing how to help without feeling overwhelmed is essential. This session aims to provide men with tools to manage the emotional impact of supporting others while safeguarding their own well-being.

It’s not about “fixing” anyone – it’s about knowing when to listen when to step back, and how to encourage healthy boundaries. By learning how to support others effectively, you’ll also build resilience and a deeper sense of empathy within yourself.
