MANUP? Joins Past Tents elgiva theatre Chesham

A screenwriter approached us to provide feedback on the hidden mental health messaging behind the show called 'Past tents'.

We decided to work with David to support various UK shows to help us raise awareness in areas our social media platforms cannot reach.

Dan (founder) will join the 'Past Tents' crew on the first night to open up a live & unscripted Q&A conversation with the audience.

It is our conviction that mental health is becoming increasingly complex, and 'Past Tents' does just that by highlighting the battle most men face every day of self-judgment, comparison, and everyday stress.

Synopsis

Multi-Award winning writer/actors DAVID J. KEOGH (Destination Dewsbury, Journey’s End) and SETH JONES (Clouds Of Grey, Someone Like You) are proud to announce a UK tour for the critically acclaimed play PAST TENTS, also starring MARK KEEGAN (Soldiers Of Embers, Adult Content). When Alan's(Seth Jones) car crashes in the middle of nowhere, he hopes his bad day (whichstarted with his wife leaving him) can it get any worse... and of course it does. After trudging through the muddy countryside, he comes across a campsite, run by the rather eccentric Virgil(Mark Keegan). With no other options and no signal on his phone, he has no choice but to stay the night. Unfortunately for Alan, there is only one plot left, situated in-between a doggy-poo bin and the rather annoying Justin (David J. Keogh).Justin is everything Alan despises - a positive family man with his life completely in control... or is he? Because things are not what they seem and as the tension builds between the men, they start to reveal their true selves... with hilarious and rather unfortunate consequences.

Past Tents is the story of two desperate people at the end of their tent ropes, forced into eachothers company. Will they end up finding redemption or will they end up killing each other first?
