Understanding the Emotions of Others

  • MANUP? (Zoom) Crockatt Road Ipswich, England, IP7 6RH United Kingdom (map)

In a world where men are often expected to keep their feelings in check, it can be challenging to truly understand and empathise with the emotions of others.

This session is all about helping men gain a better understanding of the emotional landscapes of those around them. Through this guided discussion, led by James Elliott (MSc), participants will explore how empathy can improve relationships, reduce conflicts, and build a stronger support network.

Understanding others’ emotions isn’t just about being a “good listener” – it’s about connecting on a deeper level, recognising hidden signals, and responding thoughtfully.

We’ll discuss practical ways to identify emotional cues and explore the impact our reactions have on others. Whether you’re struggling to connect with a partner, friend, or family member, this session will equip you with the tools to bridge that emotional gap.
