We're excited to share news of a forthcoming engagement that showcases MANUP?'s dedication to championing men's mental health. On the 9th of November at 11.15 am, our founder will be addressing the Upper Sixth pupils of Cheadle Hulme School as part of their esteemed BeyondCHS speaker programme.
This talk is set against the backdrop of the school's Equalities Society's upcoming activities for International Men's Day 2023, aiming to elevate the discourse on men's mental health. Our session will provide insights into the critical issue of men's mental health, encouraging students to play an active role in bettering this aspect within their community.
During the presentation, our founder will delve into:
The genesis of MANUP? and the motivations for its creation.
The charity's mission and its pivotal role in the mental health landscape.
The evolution and growth of MANUP?, including the challenges faced and triumphs achieved.
Actionable steps that Cheadle Hulme School's pupils and staff can implement to help eradicate the stigma around mental health for men and boys.
We proudly affirm our alignment with Cheadle Hulme School's values, including democracy, freedom of speech, the rule of law, and respect for individual beliefs and non-beliefs.
The session is designed to last for 30 minutes, followed by a question and answer period, fostering a dynamic and educational dialogue.
We are also delighted to be part of the school's tradition of highlighting guest speakers on their social media channels, helping to spread awareness of mental health issues.
Keep an eye on this space for further updates on this initiative and other endeavours by MANUP?, as we persist in our mission to make a meaningful impact on mental health advocacy.
Let's keep the conversation going and effect real change.
