In the fourth session of our complimentary 12-week programme, we tackle a pervasive shadow that affects many yet is seldom spoken of with the gravity it demands—'Depression'. This session takes place on the 23rd of May 2024, from 18:15 to 19:15, and is open to any man who's grappling with or interested in understanding this silent beast.
James Elliott (MSc) will lead a candid discussion on depression, its neurological basis, symptoms, and strategies for management and coping. In this safe, open forum, participants can engage as much or as little as they prefer, without the obligation of identity disclosure or visual presence.
Rules to ensure a conducive environment include: Accessing the session via a provided Zoom link, communicating through group chat only, and respecting the shared space without the distraction of private messaging.
Depression can often feel like a solo journey, but in this session, you’ll find a brotherhood ready to support you. We approach this topic not just with clinical facts but with empathy, understanding, and real-world applications that resonate with lived experiences.
